ASSOCIATESHIP AND FELLOSHIP

ASSOCIATE OF BAF (ABAF)

Any artist / photographer / Interior designer / architect who is interested in the activities and ideology of BAF can choose to become an associate of BAF. He/She can apply for associateship after reading the aims and activities of the foundation. associateship is for life and is only applicable as long as his/her mebership is active.

Details of application.

Your application should contain the following details:

Name
Age
Sex
Address, Phone,
e-mail, web site (Not compulsory)
Qualification and Job ( a formal qualification is not compulsory )
Achievements in the concerned fields (if applicable)
Any back ground in the field of Fine Arts (if applicable)

Every applicant should send, along with his/her application, at least ten of his/her work (eg. photographs, paintings, graphics, tapestry, photographs of Interiors etc. ) as prints, signed at the right lower corner of the printed side, with date. The prints can be on conventional photographic paper or photo quality inkjet paper . Prints should be at least 8 inches wide and 10 inches long. The work will be evaluated by our jury on their concept, creative elements, composition, contemporariness and technical quality etc. The deserving applicants will be awarded with the associateship and a certificate. BAF reserves the right to use these prints for art promotional activities, exhibitions, or these may be presented to the patrons of the foundation. In any case, the prints will carry prominently the name and address of the artist / photographer.
You can prepare the application form on a white paper in the above format or use the application form avilable with the BAF officials. Send it to the Director of BAF along with the Demand Draft / crossed cheque/ money order worth Rs.1000 ( $50 or equivalent for overseas applicants) drawn in favor of The Butterfly Art Foundation payable at Thrissur. Add Rs.50 for outstation cheques

Privileges of the Associate

He / She is entitled to use the title ABAF with his/her name if his application is accepted and the associateship granted.
He / She will receive a Certificate of Associateship.
He / She will receive an elegantly designed membership card stating Member of Butterfly Art Foundation displaying the BAF Emblem.
A portfolio of his/ her works will be exhibited in the official web site (subject to approval of a jury). This images will be available for sale to international image buyers.

FELLOW OF BAF (FBAF)

The fellowship is given to individuals of outstanding performance and achievements in the fields of Art, Photography and Interior Design.

Any artist / photographer / Interior designer / architect who is interested in the activities and ideology of BAF can apply for the fellowship. Fellowship is for life.

Details of application.

The applicant should have at least ten years experience in respective fields (attach self attested letter to this effect)
The applicant should have participated in group/solo exhibitions/conferences/camps at least on ten occations ( Mention the occasions with place and year)
The applicant should be actively involved in the respective fields at present.
He /She has to be an ABAF to apply for FBAF

Your application should contain the following details:

Qualification and Job ( a formal qualification is not compulsory )
Achievements in the concerned fields

The works will be evaluated by our jury on their concept, creative elements, composition, contemporariness and technical quality etc. The deserving applicants will be awarded with the Fellowship and a certificate. The Foundation and the jury reserves the right to deny Fellowship temporarily if they are not satisfied with the applicants' work. The same person can reapply with fresh set of work again.
The work of the selected applicants will not be returned. These selected prints become the property of BAF. BAF reserves the right to use these prints for art promotional activities, exhibitions, or these may be presented to the patrons of the foundation. In any case, the prints will carry prominently the name and address of the artist / photographer so that the art buyers and connoisseurs can directly contact them. The BAF will not and has no right to use these prints for commercial purposes. We respect the copyright of the Artist/ Photographer. Some of the outstanding prints may also find a permanent place in the proposed Gallery of Art and Photography.
You can prepare the application form on a white paper (any number of sheets) in the above format and send it to the Director of BAF along with the Demand Draft / crossed cheque/ money order worth Rs.2000 ( $150 or equivalent for overseas applicants) drawn in favor of The Butterfly Art Foundation payable at Thrissur.

Privileges of Fellows

He / She is entitled to use the title FBAF with his/her name
He / She will receive a beautifully framed Certificate of Fellowship to display at his office or residence.
Special Invitee to all the National Exhibitions of Art and Photography.
Invitee to the proposed Gallery of Art, Photography and Indian Heritage.
Invitee to all the activities of the Foundation including contests.
