MEMBERSHIPS - ANNUAL & LIFE

Any artist / photographer / Interior designer / architect who is interested in the activities and ideology of BAF can choose to become a member of BAF. He/She can apply for membership after reading the aims and activities of the foundation. (Annual)Membership is for one year.

Details of application.

Your application should contain the following details:

• Name
• Age
• Sex
• Address, Phone,
• e-mail, web site (Not compulsory)
• Qualification and Job ( a formal qualification is not compulsory )
• Achievements in the concerned fields (if applicable)
• Any back ground in the field of Fine Arts (if applicable)
• Kindly write on the following in a paragraph or two each (Not compulsory).

1. What attracted you to BAF?
2. Your vision of Life
3. The importance of Art in your intellectual existence.
4. The importance of Art in the evolution of a society and its civilization.
5. Effect of a work of art on your mood, performance and temperament.
6. Do you consider a work of Art an asset that can be passed on to generations?
7. Do you think that the attitude of a society towards fine arts is an index of its civilization?
8. In a society studded with corruption, unemployment and poverty, how do you compare the importance of cultural and political activities?
9. What are your thoughts about nature preservation?
10. What are your feelings about the importance of preservation of Indian culture and heritage?
    

• You can prepare the application form on a white paper (any number of sheets) in the above format or use the application form avilable with the BAF officials. Send it to the Director of BAF along with the Demand Draft / crossed cheque/ money order worth Rs.500 ( $25 or equivalent for overseas applicants) drawn in favor of The Butterfly Art Foundation payable at Thrissur. Add Rs.50 for outstation cheques

• Privileges of the Member:

1. He / She is entitled to use the title MBAF with his/her name if his application is accepted and the membership granted.
2. He / She will receive a Certificate of Membership.
3. He / She will receive an elegantly designed membership card stating Member of Butterfly Art Foundation displaying the BAF Emblem.
4. A portfolio of his/ her works will be exhibited in the official web site (subject to approval of a jury). This images will be available for sale to international image buyers.
5. Free entry to all the National Exhibitions of Art and Photography organized by the Foundation
6. Free entry to the proposed Gallery of Art, Photography and Indian Heritage.
7. Free subscription to the proposed Journal of Art, Photography and Indian Heritage.
8. He / She can participate in all the activities of the Foundation including contests.
9. More over, he / she will be a proud member of an international Art Foundation.

Life Membership
Application procedure : same as above.
Membership fee: Rs.3000/-
All life members get copies of BAF International Print Exhibition 2005 and 2006 catalogues as promotional gifts.
